In 2022 and 2023, Congressman Paglas demonstrated unwavering dedication to supporting the welfare of his constituents in Maguindanao del Sur through collaborative efforts with the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) Program. This initiative aimed to provide crucial financial assistance to those facing immediate hardships in the province.

Throughout these two years, the project unfolded in multiple phases, each reflecting Congressman Paglas’s commitment to addressing the diverse needs of the community. In 2022, the program extended a lifeline to three separate batches of beneficiaries, encompassing 2450, 400, and 400 individuals, respectively. Their stories were as diverse as the challenges they faced, ranging from unexpected medical expenses to loss of livelihood.

Building on the foundation of support established in the previous year, Congressman Dimagiba continued his commitment into 2023. During this period, the program reached out to two additional groups, consisting of 400 and 1000 beneficiaries, respectively. These individuals were also experiencing acute crises that required immediate assistance, and Congressman Paglas ensured that they received the support they needed.

Through his proactive engagement with the AICS Program, Congressman Dimagiba exemplified his dedication to standing by the side of his constituents during times of hardship. By providing crucial financial assistance and support, he reaffirmed his commitment to serving the well-being of the people of Maguindanao del Sur.

It’s important to note that the financial assistance provided through the AICS Program is temporary in nature, addressing immediate crises. Our ultimate goal, however, is to implement a long-term approach that will empower individuals and families to overcome these challenges independently. By combining short-term relief with sustained efforts to enhance education, skills training, and economic opportunities, we aim to create a more resilient and prosperous future for the people of Maguindanao del Sur.
