In the heart of Maguindanao del Sur, accessible healthcare stands as a critical need. With a focus on providing medical assistance to the most vulnerable, we have initiated a program that has become a lifeline for countless individuals and families.

At the core of this program lies a commitment to ensuring that no one is left without essential medical care due to financial constraints. To transform this vision into reality, an amount totaling Php 12,000,000 was allocated to three vital healthcare institutions: the Cotabato Regional and Medical Center, the Southern Philippines Medical Center, and the Maguindanao Provincial Hospital.

These funds, administered in partnership with the Department of Health, have not only bolstered the capacity of these hospitals to serve the community but have also helped save lives and improve the health outcomes of countless Maguindanao residents. Beyond the three public hospitals, Cong. Paglas’ dedication to uplifting the healthcare landscape extends even further. A strategic partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development resulted in a disbursement of more than Php 5,000,000 to various private hospitals in Region 12, further expanding the reach of medical assistance. This collaborative effort exemplifies the legislator’s unwavering commitment to making quality healthcare a right, not a privilege, for all residents of Maguindanao del Sur.
