I would like to express my wholehearted support for the initiatives and endeavors undertaken by the Office of Presidential Assistant for Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPAPRU), particularly in commemorating the tenth anniversary of the signing of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB) between the Government of the Philippines (GPH) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

The signing of the CAB on 27 March 2014 marked a significant milestone in the peace process, ushering in a new era of hope, reconciliation, and unity for the Bangsamoro people and the entire nation. The theme “Isang Dekada tungo sa Mapayapa at Masaganang Bangsamoro” encapsulates the aspirations and dreams of countless individuals who have long yearned for lasting peace and prosperity in the region.

As a Member of the House of Representatives, it is my solemn duty to uphold and promote the principles of peace, justice, and inclusivity in our society. We should recognize the importance of commemorating this historic event and reaffirming our commitment to maintaining peace and order in the Bangsamoro region.

Together, let us continue to work hand in hand towards the realization of a peaceful and prosperous Bangsamoro, where all individuals can live harmoniously and fulfill their aspirations for a better future.
